FOUR SEASONS CITY FARM IS LOOKING FOR GARDEN COORDINATOR

FOR THE 2026 GROWING SEASON. We will post the job description this month.

The job will be a 20 hour a week position and the person would need to be able to start in April and work through September.  They will need to work well with youth and community members to coordinate planting, cultivating, and harvesting. The coordinator will assist in distribution of product.

Volunteer Days

The Board has several volunteer opportunities were set for each month. We are hosting workshops on pruning (throughout the months of March and April), seed germination (throughout the months of March and April), land preparation, composting, cool weather plants, and planning Spring/Summer Festivals.

Work Days - April 16, 2026 (2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) & April 18, 2026 (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p..), at the Freedom Garden, 913 E. Mound Street.

FSCF will plant trees and berry bushes; all volunteers receive free strawberry plants.

April 26, 2026 - Earth Day at the Audubon Metro Park, all day.

May 9, 16, 23 are Community Plant sales at Old First, 1101 Bryden Road, afternoon.
